Lindsay Martinez, CFP®
Hi and thank you for wanting to get to know me!
To start, I grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania. My mom did not have a college degree, but had a successful career before choosing to leave the workforce and raise kids. It was a big decision and would affect her financially for the rest of her life. It also affected me as I was able to see first hand how women make sacrifices for their families, in their careers, and with day to day money decisions. I may not be able to make family or career choices for you, but I can certainly help you make a financial plan to get clarity around your goals.
I consider myself a "Xennial" born somewhere between Generation X and Millennials. I understand the decisions, issues, and changes that women face in both generations and pride myself on communicating complex financial jargon in a very simple way.
If you're dying to hear more, read on for a few interesting factoids:
I pitched and played first base in a competitive fast-pitch softball league through High School and we made it to Nationals when I was 16.
I have jumped out of a plane (with a parachute, of course).
I have lived in 5 states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, and now, California.
